Our ExtremeNode is unlike any traditional blade systems available
on the market. Each ExtremeNode has it own set of processor, memories,
and power supply. As our name implies, we are using standard
ATX motherboard rather then proprietary system board in our AB-105
Pentium 4 ExtremeNode system. This ability to utilize non-proprietary
technology gives us the price advantage over other blade vendors.
Thus we are able to pass the saving directly back to our customers.
In order to keep up with today’s network application demand,
we are using the newest Intel SE7210TP1-E entry server board
in our AB-105 server blades. It offers dual channel DDR400 memories
to maximize data transfer rate. With Intel E7210 chipset, AB-105
Pentium 4 blade node delivers up to 6.4GB/s data transfer rate.
To further improve our AB-105 server blade performance, we upgraded
our hard drive system to use the next generation Serial ATA hard
disk format. This upgrade helps our AB-105 blade node to achieve
up to 150Mbyte/s data transfer rate for hard drive storage. Furthermore,
the build on board SATA RAID offers better data reliability and
availability for your network users. AB-105 server blade keeps
running even after one hard drive failed
